Women Issues: Know More About Perfumes

Did you know that years ago perfume was worn for hiding unpleasant body odour? In France, for instance, there were times when washing was simply prohibited due to a ridiculous belief that water was harmful for people’s body. Those were awfully insanitary times, and it is repulsive to imagine the smell that was dwelling in every corner of the country at that time. This smell was attempted to camouflage with the help of perfume, and this is when the perfume became so popular. Fortunately, now we know that water isn’t harmful at all, and perfume has changed its destination. What earlier was a means of concealment now is practically an element of our style.

You react to smells much more intensively than you think, and particularly much more intensively than to the things you see. Why is it so comfortable for us to be near some people for no particular reason, while the others, however pleasant and charming they might be, we simply can stand? The answer can be simple – the odour. Every person has their unique body odour, and sometimes it is incompatible with the odour of other people. You have probably noticed that the same perfume smells distinctly different when worn by two different people. This is because their natural body odour is different. This is the reason for which your choice of perfume is so important – it has to smell good when blended with your body odour, and this can be achieved only by trying them on.

I want to stop a bit on women’s perfumes. They come in larger varieties than the men’s perfumes. You have certainly spotted that the men’s perfumes are mostly similar and the range of scents is not that wide. Women’s perfume, on the contrary, are very different – from very sweet and fragrant ones to fresh and tart ones, almost resembling men’s. This great choice allows every woman to choose a scent that will perfectly suit her style and natural body odour. Here are some tips for you:

• Never buy perfume that you don’t like, even if you like it but still have some doubts. The perfume you need will instantly seem very attractive and tasty to you.

• If you have been presented a perfume you don’t like, it is better to confess it honestly and have it changed for something more suitable. Never buy perfume as a present, unless you know exactly what a person wants and likes, or unless you choose the scent together with them.

• Try every scent you want to buy before making a decision – just smelling it is not enough. Spray a small amount of perfume tester on your wrist and wait for a minute, then smell it.

• Every woman has to have at least two scents in her wardrobe – one for daily use and one for evenings. These two smells have to be different enough – the daily one is better to be more fresh and practical, and the evening one more sexy, enigmatic and deep.
